Launching the Competition in Georgia is done

On Friday, 11th December 2015, in IART Gallery, Tbilisi, was held the opening of the national phase of Georgia within the framework of International Children’s Drawing Competition « Draw me Peace », organized by NGO Club de Chance (France – Georgia), in partnership with association Nénuphar (France), with support of Club UNESCO and with participation of many partners.

This action is a continuation of the international project « Symphony of Peace » and its goal is to unite children from different countries around the themes of kindness, solidarity and humanity.

As said Russian famous actor Efim Shifrin « While adults play war, children draw the peace. »

The event was attended by representatives of the intellectual elite of Georgia, artists, representatives of embassies, schools, art studios, city officials and a large audience.
By the resonance, which had the event in Tbilisi, the organizers felt that the theme of the Peace is highly important for Georgia.

Competition of Drawing will begin on 1st January and will last till the end of March 2016. Then Georgian jury will choose 50 best works, which will be sent to participate in the international phase in France. The winners of the international competition will be announced at the awards ceremony in May, in Paris. One child from Georgia with his/her parent will be invited to this event.
